What does SHFTR save?
JPEG photos and MP4 videos at 960 × 720, made for the texture of analog video. Videos can include mic sound. Captures land in Pictures/SHFTR and Movies/SHFTR.
Do I need a foldable?
No. SHFTR has a regular phone layout. Supported foldables also get camcorder mode and the cover-screen layout.
Which phones can run it?
Android 11 or newer, an ARM64 phone, a camera, and OpenGL ES 3.1. Performance and foldable support vary by device. The app is currently in testing.
What permissions does it use?
Camera, for the live camera. Microphone is optional, for audio-reactive effects and sound in videos. Change either in Android Settings.
Is it a subscription?
No. Planned Google Play price is US $5, one time, no in-app purchases. It isn’t available to buy or install yet.
