SHFTR is an offline creative camera app provided by HZRD//Archive.
Camera and microphone
SHFTR uses your camera, with your permission, to display and process live images and to take photos or videos that you request. Optional microphone access is used for audio-reactive effects and, when enabled, sound in recorded videos. Camera frames and microphone signals are processed on your device. SHFTR does not send them to HZRD//Archive or another server. Audio-reactive analysis does not store a separate recording of your microphone.
Photos, videos, and settings
Requested photos and videos are saved in your device's gallery, in Pictures/SHFTR or Movies/SHFTR. Settings and favorites are stored locally in the app. SHFTR does not operate a cloud-storage service or upload captures. Any gallery backup or sharing you enable in another app is controlled by that app and its own privacy policy.
Data collection and sharing
SHFTR has no app account, advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, or Internet permission. HZRD//Archive does not collect or share personal data through SHFTR. The bundled Altar animation and logo load from local app assets. Google Play separately processes app purchases and may process store or device information under Google's privacy policy. HZRD//Archive does not receive your payment-card details through SHFTR.
Your choices and retention
You can deny or revoke camera and microphone permissions in Android Settings. Without camera permission, camera capture is unavailable. Without microphone permission, microphone-dependent effects and recorded sound are unavailable. You can delete saved captures using your gallery or file manager. Clearing SHFTR's app data or uninstalling it removes local app settings; it does not necessarily delete media already saved to your gallery. SHFTR has no server-held app data to retain or delete.
External links and support
The HZRD Archive website button opens your browser only when you choose it. The website, browser, and any support correspondence have their own data handling; SHFTR does not transmit your camera feed or microphone to the website. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond to your request.
Children
SHFTR is a creative camera tool and is not specifically designed for children. It does not knowingly collect children's personal data through the app.
